Downloading files in the Google Chrome Software feels very comfortable and easy. Firstly because he did not open the window/new tab like in Firefox/Opera. Chrome just displays the file information being downloaded in the status bar. We also see more detailed information by clicking the Show All Downloads existing statusbar on the right side (when download running). Like Firefox, Chrome also rename files that have the same name. We can arrange download destination path in the Options. Unfortunately, Chrome does not display information download speed, so I can be sure be fast download using Chrome. Update on New
When we download a file, the current tab will display the download icon, which means that the file we downloaded from the tab. Then I try to close the tab, and it downloads status (in the status bar) is missing. I think I downloaded a file that also go missing, then I press Ctrl + J or select Customize-> Downloads. It turned out that the file I downloaded is still there. I just can not show them back to the status bar. Well, things like this I think will confuse beginners, because they will think that they downloaded files go missing when tabnya closed. Hopefully this will fix by Google.
Update: Installation Path & Offline Installer
It turned out that the default installation path other sort Chrome itself, Chrome by default be installed into C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\. After installing of new version like google chrome 3, Chrome also seems to save the offline installer in the directory, please check whether your Chrome offline installer in the folder Google\Chrome\ Application.3.0.195.38\Installer. There there are 2 files the setup executable file and 7zip archives (Seven Zip).
